From Forging To Finishing, Brockhouse Offers A Complete Solution
Brockhouse has invested heavily in its manufacturing site to provide customers with a one stop shop for all forging, machining and assembly needs. Brockhouse was first established in 1885 as a spring and axle maker and quickly developed into a specialist forging company, moving to a new site in 1888 where our operations continue today. Over the years Brockhouse has invested heavily in machinery and technology, continuing to develop our service offering and capabilities to deliver a full-service solution for customers. Design Engineering Our in-house team of design engineers provide professional CAD/CAM drawings and animations that bring ideas to life, ensuring that all specifications and measurements are accurate prior to manufacture. From customer drawings and 3D models to reverse engineering, the team has the expertise to create forging die designs from many sources. Bespoke Dies & Tooling The design and programming software links directly to our CNC machinery, allowing for fast turnaround of the production of bespoke forging dies and precision tooling. All tooling is custom made at our in-house tooling facility, resulting in shorter lead times and reduced costs. Brockhouse also offers a rapid prototype service, producing a model of the part where required. Forgings Up To 150kg From its origin over 135 years ago, Brockhouse continues to deliver quality forgings to a range of industries across a global customer network. Our forging workshop features both closed die hammer and upset forging machinery, with a half-tonne Power Hammer and a seven tonne Counterblow hammer alongside four Upsetters, operated by a highly skilled workforce with decades of experience. Brockhouse can produce forgings from 0.5kg – 150kg, from small to medium batch quantities. Our post forging production capabilities include:
