Brockhouse was thrilled to welcome Shaun Bailey, MP for West Bromwich, to our facility last week. The team from Brockhouse took Shaun on a tour of the factory, demonstrating our forging and excellent in-house manufacturing capabilities, including our seven tonne Counterblow hammer.
Based in West Bromwich, Brockhouse boasts a proud history of UK manufacturing dating back centuries. During the Covid-19 pandemic supply chains were severely disrupted on a global scale. Brockhouse actively worked with UK manufacturers helping them reshore their production to the UK, without the reliance upon foreign ports being open.
Speaking of the visit, Shaun Bailey stated:
“I absolutely love seeing businesses like this after so many centuries, still going strong! Brockhouse Group Limited truly resembles history all the way back from 1885 and it is great to see that after battling through the pandemic, they are still cementing the amazing industrial infrastructure that we have here in the Black Country. I had a fantastic time having a look around the forge and seeing all of their impressive machinery in action!”
Founded in 1885, Brockhouse has built up a reputation for fast response problem solving in the supply of high quality and competitively priced forged solutions. Brockhouse supplies closed die hammer and upset forgings from 0.5Kg to 400Kg to many industries including mining, oil & gas, railways, nuclear, automotive, off-highway, defence, fluid power, materials handling, and many more.
We pride ourselves on our ability to meet the challenges of fast response, high quality, and low cost solutions that our customers require. Our manufacturing facilities enable us to offer the broadest range of products from a single forge. Brockhouse offers a complete range of capabilities from die and tooling manufacture, to forging and machining, making us an ideal partner to provide a one-stop shop for all of our customers forging needs.
